FAQ
Have QUESTIONS? This could help.
Q – How do I get a pedal repaired?
Sometimes things can go awry with your gear, and we're here to lend a hand. If your pedal is acting up, take a peek at our Repair page and shoot us a message detailing the concern you're facing. Often, a bit of basic troubleshooting can iron out many kinks, as the pedal itself might not necessarily be the culprit. We'll guide you through the process of determining whether it's necessary to send it our way for a diagnosis and potential fix.

Q – Can I talk to a technician for general advice about pedals?
Certainly, we're here to assist you to the best of our ability, but we kindly request that you utilize our Contact forms for inquiries. While we're eager to help within reasonable limits, please understand that we cannot provide extensive consultations on your pedals, modifications, rig setups, or tonal choices. Numerous online forums and resources are readily available, offering free and accessible insights on a wide range of topics related to guitar pedals, guitars, amplifiers, rigs, and tone.
Nevertheless, we're more than happy to address general questions when feasible. We kindly ask you to access one of our Contact Forms, conveniently located in our Navigation Bar under "Contact." Thank you for your understanding!
Q – What type of power supply do your pedals require?
All our pedals operate on a standard 9V DC adapter, center negative polarity, unless stated otherwise on the specific pedal's product page. We highly recommend using a top-tier power supply with isolated power for optimal performance. Excellent options include the Voodoo Lab Power Plus and various other brands and models designed for this purpose.
It's worth emphasizing the significance of choosing a high-quality power supply, as this aspect is often overlooked when acquiring pedals and constructing pedalboards. Yet, it can profoundly impact your pedalboard's functionality and contribute to achieving exceptional tone. We strongly discourage the use of "daisy-chained" power setups.
For more detailed information on why selecting a top-notch power supply is crucial, we invite you to visit our Pedal Power page. Additionally, for further insights into this topic, we recommend reading the article titled "Powering Your Board," published by Premier Guitar Magazine in December 2011.
Please note that none of our pedals come with internal 9V battery connectors.
